Back story.
In 1990 I joined Peter Davies in his Corby company called Artec.  My role was to design cars etc that would be manufactured in Jamaica by his old friends the Hadids.  I started with an open sided Leisure car with Ford mechanicals.  This was followed by a City car which we called Didi to be made in the UK initially for UK and European markets.  The powertrain I used was the FIAT Panda and got a full 4 seats in with an overall length of less than 7 feet, primarily by using quite upright seating.
